What do you like about working for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation?

What is there not to like? Every day I know that my work is helping to create a future without breast cancer. It’s the best feeling in the world.

I have one hobby – Running. Last year I ran my first marathon the Chicago Marathon.

What are you working on right now?

I work on lots of fundraising projects including the Cook for the Cure program.  Every day is different at the Foundation with lots of new challenges! There are multiple projects going on from silent auctions to editing direct mail pieces. CFTC is an easy way to turn any event you have into a fundraiser for the Foundation. It can be as simple as having a potluck, housewarming, gift-free birthday, or any occasion!  Your guests bring a small donation for the Foundation. For each event KitchenAid Canada will donate an extra $50.00. Your party can be a four person book club or a big birthday surprise party.

We had a cupcake party in the office where we sold homemade cupcakes in return for a donation! My coworkers Leanne and Cherie love to bake so it was an easy fundraiser for us to come up with.
