Finding Hope means believing that you are capable of overcoming obstacles, such as breast cancer. I know first hand about finding hope. My mom is fighting breast cancer for the third time now, and this will be my third year participating in run for the cure.
Each day, I watch my mom fight, from the time she wakes up to the time when she lays her head to sleep. The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is a very important day for people of all ages to get together and raise money to fight back against breast cancer. I am only 15 years old, and believe with all my heart that we will find a cure.
I am inspired every day by my mom and other women who have so much courage and determination with fighting breast cancer.
I love you mom, please get better.
From Jessika

I first participated in the run with my daughter last year then in January, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. We plan on doing the run every year! I have 2 children 10 and 13.
I believe that we will find a cure if we all work together!
It is a tough journey but I have faith that she will make it through it again your mom is a strong woman who has beaten it twice and she WILL do it again!
((HUGS)) to you and your mom
you are in my prayers
I have just been diagnoised in January of this year and will begin my treatments the end of March. I have 4 children aged 13, 10, 9 and 7. I know the road will be rough, but my children are my inspiration and together we will get through this. I believe that there will soon be a cure for both me and the other women who are facing the same struggle.
Keep the faith.
I also have just been diagnosed with breast cancer (March3)and having a difficult time taking it all in. I lost my son two years ago from bone cancer and only now understand what he went through, mentally! Your children will be your strength to continue on and fight this disease. My daughter, grown with children of her own, as well as my husband are my pillars for me. My prayers are with you and your family.
My little friend from church, Rachel who is nine now was diagnoised with Cancer two years ago, not breast cancer but I believe there is still hope. She was diagnoised with cancer on her 7th birthday and was considered a miracle child when she survived. It’s just a story to help you know that to never give up. I went in the run two years ago I believe. We love you and your mother.
“The hardest part of the fight is when it’s almost over. Keep running, you win because you won your race and triumphed.”
