Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure 2009
The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure raised $26.5 million dollars! Thank you to the 170,000 participants and everyone else who volunteered and donated. We couldn’t have done it without you!

This is me (14920) with my sister Kelly, my friend Amanda, and my brother Paul. This was the 2nd year we ran together as team Mo-mentum. In 2007 I had planned to do the Run for the Cure but was diagnosed with breast cancer and had surgery just a couple weeks before, so I missed out that year. In 2008 my friends and family formed team Mo-mentum and raised over $7,000, and I ran my first 5K. This year our team gained momentum and we added a few new team members. The final count isn’t in yet, but hopefully our fundraising gained momentum as well.
